Do Not Sell or Share My Info

California’s CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and comparable laws in other US states, give you the right to stop your personal information being ‘sold’ or ‘shared’ for cross-context behavioural advertising. This page explains how that applies to markedyears.com and how to exercise the right.
The Effect of Opting Out
Opting out ends the sharing, not the advertising. Expect to keep seeing ads, just not ones shaped by your browsing. Access to everything on markedyears.com is unaffected, as anti-discrimination provisions require.
What the Terms Mean Here
There is no monetary sale of personal information by Markedyears. The practice that engages this right is narrower — where ads are served, advertising and cookie identifiers may be shared with ad partners. Given how broadly the statutes define ‘sale’ and ‘share’, we assume it counts and provide the opt-out.
This right is available to every reader of markedyears.com, not only to readers interested in Markedyears who have contacted us or joined the mailing list.
Making the Request
The automatic route is Global Privacy Control: enable it in your browser and this site respects it on every visit without you asking. Manual routes are the consent banner, where one is presented, and email to hello@markedyears.com with ‘Do Not Sell or Share’ in the subject. No account or registration is needed.
Other state-law rights are described in the State Privacy Notice.
